Finding the proper fit when it comes to safety footwear is extremely important. One of the drawbacks of shopping for shoes online is the inability to try on the shoes before making a purchase. Follow the steps below to properly measure your feet then, using the work boot size charts, you'll be sure to get the right fit.
What you will need to measure your foot:
- two sheets of paper
- writing utensil
- ruler
Tips for measuring your feet:
- Measure your feet at the end of the day. Your feet can slightly increase in size after walking or standing all day.
- Measure both of your feet. Many people have slightly different size feet. You should order your shoes based off the larger foot.
- When measuring, wear the socks you would normally wear with those particular shoes.
How to measure your
WORK BOOT LENGTH:
1. Stand upright on a flat surface with your weight on both feet. Place one foot on a piece of paper.
2. Have someone trace around your foot on the paper. Mark the spot where your heel touches the paper. Not the wide back curve of your heel, but where your sock touches the paper. (See diagram below)
3. Mark the spot of the longest toe looking straight down from above.
*Note: your big toe may not always be your longest toe.
4. Measure the distance between your heel mark and longest toe.
5. Repeat steps 1- 4 with your other foot.
6. Once you know the length of both of your feet, look up your shoe size on the work boot length size chart below. Use the longer foot when determining what size to order.
How to measure your
WORK BOOT WIDTH:
1. Using the outlines of your feet, measure across the tracing at the widest part of your foot. (See diagram below)
2. Once you know the width of both of your feet, look up your shoe size on the work boot size chart below then find your width. Use the wider foot when determining what width to order.
